As we approach the release of their 3rd LP, Modeselektor dropped into London to play at the SW4 festival alongside Pendulum, Richie Hawtin and others. We took the chance to corner them for a half hour chat about the new album, starting 2 labels, collaborating with Antipop Consortium and Busdriver, their live and recording processes and many more. We’re really proud to be able to give this insight into one of the best electronic acts of the last decade.
This week, we’re very proud to have an exclusive guest mix from The Centrifuge’s resident glitchmeister – and recent addition to Tigerbeat6’s Andale! series – Rob Clouth aka Vaetxh. A master of glitched out production and heavy bass, Rob’s music as Vaetxh has as much to offer fans of Autechre and Alva Noto as it does fans of Vex’d and Kryptic Minds. You’ll be hearing a lot more from him over the next few months, and this 30 minute mix of his own material is a great place to start.
