United by the recent tragic events in Japan, The Centrifuge & Splutter team up once again to host an evening of altruism and cutting-edge music in the newly refurbished Islington Metal Works (aka Elektrowerkz). We’ve assembled a world-class lineup of musicians and artists to help us raise as much for charity as possible. 100% of the profits will go to Peace Winds who are providing aid and relief to the people most affected by the crisis.

We’re also holding a raffle prize draw, with exactly the kind of exclusive treats which money can’t buy, so you’ll want to bring a few extra pennies along!

Electronic music legend and “Jimi Hendrix of the TB-303” MIKE DRED aka THE KOSMIK KOMMANDO is heading up the lineup – check R&S, Rephlex and his own Machine Codes imprint to explore his expansive back catalogue. Resurgent drum’n’bass experimentalists ICARUS touch down for a rare London show, having recently remixed Caribou and Eclectic Method and ready to embark on a European tour this spring. LUKE’S ANGER promises to deliver his patented blend of rave-fuelled analogue techno whilst MONSTER X, POINT B and SCHEME BOY are geared up to pump out their own unique flavours of broken beats, bass and bleeps.

In the courtyard The Centrifuge and Splutter DJs and friends are on hand to fill the room with their latest sonic treats and we’re also pleased to announce that infamous street artist STIK is involved – known for his endearing humanoid stick characters which are seemingly endemic around London streets and art happenings.

Scheme Boy is a stalwart of the London electronica and breakcore landscapes, having had a hand in many of the best happenings in the capital over the past decade. Never one for sticking to any one style, a Scheme Boy set could take you through a variety of genres, tempos and sonic tapestries whilst never forgetting to keep you grooving along. Although the back catalogue of his releases would indicate a hardcore/breakcore artist (albeit a melodic one), its on the dancefloor that you’ll experience the full spectrum of his sound which covers IDM, wonky techno, dubstep, jungle, DnB and of course hardcore.
