Back for their 2nd session at legendary venue The MacBeth in Hoxton, cutting edge electronic collective The Centrifuge are throwing a charity fundraiser in support of MacMillan Cancer Support. The buckets have arrived, the bunting’s wrapped and all the music sorted for a charity do that feels as good as it sounds. This is a win-win people. Come down and get that warm fuzzy glow going on, and even if you can’t please spread the word. Positive karma guaranteed!

There’s a crack team of electronic musicians on board the Thursday night altruistic rave vessel: not least living legend RADIOACTIVEMAN touching down for an electro session whilst 303-abuse pair TUDOR ACID, late addition THE DOUBTFUL GUEST and mystery live guest DJ EARWAX are gonna turn the tempo up and get sweaty. SCHEME BOY is in effect to bombard, pummel and amaze and The Centrifuge’s latest signing VAETXH showcases his mind-melting bass/glitch fusion. Your DJ team for the evening are null+void blog lady KIERSTY and The Centrifuge’s resident misanthrope MISSAW.

Donations are being taken on the door, and inside too. Plenty of surprises on the night too 🙂

The Centrifuge returns to London after a half-year hiatus from club nights, in which time they have taken their quirky brand of challenging yet accessible live electronic music to the global stage. Having upped sticks and moved HQ to Berlin at the start of 2010, the good word has been spreading far and wide. Now they are back in their old stomping ground with nothing less than a stellar lineup to celebrate the climax and finale of WISP’s first European Tour of the new decade.

And what a decade it is shaping up to be for WISP! Hailing from Niagra Falls in the USA, his profile exploded last year after his first two highly-anticipated albums for Aphex Twin’s Rephlex label emerged, revealing new electro/techno influences to his sound that is tweaked to move feet, tickle minds and break hearts on the dancefloor. 2009 also saw 2 huge UK shows with Aphex Twin and a North American tour with Venetian Snares, both of which are amongst his biggest fans. Come and see what the fuss is about!

As if that wasn’t enough, we have another FOUR (count ’em!) live acts in support of Wisp. RIVAL CONSOLES makes the first appearance of many under The Centrifuge’s banner, bringing his ultra-catchy synth lines and funked-up drum machine workouts. A true star in the making. MRS JYNX touches down from Manchester with her timeless take on pastoral electronica, retro-electro melody wizard OXYNUCID is exlusively road testing this summer’s festival live set and ROTODRONE plays his first-ever live show, previewing his amazing new album forthcoming on The Centrifuge. missaw provides DJ support for the main attractions.

In Room 2, the ever-excellent electronic music blog null+void present a lineup bridging the gap between electro, acid, dubstep and drum’n’bass with Militant Science head honcho PAUL BLACKFORD and SCRASE performing live alongside hardware fiend TUDOR ACID and DJs Ursa and Kiersty.

Room 3 is hosted by Neon Skullz & Pollinate Records…Bad bwoy tribalmashupbashment. Japanese dubtronic genius duo DOKKEBI Q lay down a tasty headline show just before their debut album is released! THIS ROOM IS: global ghetto beats slashed, smashed and slammed against fuck off ragga-tronics and blistering bassline bubblers!

    See you down the front!
