The “pH Series 6.5+” is a 5-track concept release, based on the thematic progession of structural elements and melodic progressions as the series moves from pH6.5 to pH6.9 – in chemistry parlance, the interplay of acid and base (bass!) providing a quixotic end product. As the tracks wax and wane from big dancefloor stompers to delicate groovers, its apparent that the tracks work as well together in series as they do in isolation.
